Web and Mail rescue service
Advanced DNS service ensures that everything runs like it should.
Updated: January 4, 2012
What is the point in having a lot of space available on the server, or maybe dozens of emails, and finally pay lots of money to design a website if the the website is not accessible to users?
What is the point to have the email blocked?
That's why, before anything else, we nned to have a good system to ensure an effective response to these problems.
Service overview
|
If you choose to use your own POP3/SMTP service (Google Apps already does everything by itself), you configure the email accounts on two different servers, connected to different Internet backbones in different continents.
If, for some reason the primary mail server goes down or is unreachable by the users, an advanced DNS service changes quickly and immediately the DNS configuration and redirects all mail on the backup server. |
|
The DNS redirection service is also used for the main website.
If the main Web server that contains your website is offline for some reason, the Dns control system changes the DNS information to redirect users to the secondary site, which can be as you prefer, a simple page that explains that the site is currently under maintenance, or an exact replica of the first website.
Note that the main servers are a "cloud" of Windows and Linux servers, but the backup server is a Linux server. |
